On this art and design retreat, you'll meet some of my favorite textile artisans, potters, street artists, cooks, and incredible humans – all of whom are my friends. I've been coming to Oaxaca since the 90s, and it's allowed me to nurture relationships with talented Oaxacan artists over the years.
We'll get out of Oaxaca city and meet some incredible artists. I'll take you to some artists' studios and we will have creative printmaking workshops. You'll get a better understanding of symbolism and design in indigenous cultures and how they continue to tell these visual stories.
Between the art and design experience, we'll also eat delicious dishes, cook together, and taste mezcal. All of these are vital to the Oaxacan culture, but also to connecting our creativity.
